I made on my first extended overnight trip away from TJ! Went to Phoenix this week for my mom's retirement ceremony. It was a nice get-away, and it was great to be able to see my family, even my sister Kate came in for the event. The plan is that mom will be moving close to us, just as soon as she sells her house (so if anyone out there knows someone who needs a condo in AZ, let me know!).
