Summertime means water time! TJ and I checked out the Brushy Creek park today, it is equipped with a fabulous sprinkler park and playscape. TJ had a blast. Of course, about five minutes after arrival, my kid takes a header and now has a lovely purple goose egg on his forehead. But, after a few minutes of mommy time, he was right back in the action with friends Will, Luke, and Jake. We had a picnic in the park, played on the playscape, then headed home for naps.
Yesterday, Allan had kid duty, and he took TJ and his friend Erika bowling. More than rolling the ball, TJ likes to see it pop back up in the ball return. He'll pitch the ball indiscriminately, then run back to the return machine, not really caring if he hits a pin or knocks anything down!
